Although it was 10F outside today
,I changed oil for my oil drinking Saturn. This time I added about 6 oz. of Mr. Moly additive with 4 quarts of Mobil Drive Clean 5W-30. Mr. Moly is the same stuff as 'MolySlip E' sold at Canadian Tire store. It is just a different label.
I am not a believer of engine treament and/or oil additives. But I thought I could give it a try on my winter beater car, Saturn. Definately, I wouldn't add it to my Trans Am. As I said, I didn't pour a whole can, 10 oz. I just want to be somewhat conservative until I get oil analysis done. The car doesn't have oil pressure guage nor oil temperature guage. Therefore I can't comment on immediate results after 30 miles drive today. I am planning on doing oil analysis when I put 3000 miles on it. There is VOA of MolySlip from The_Oz MolySlip VOA
Anyway, it is 2F in upstate NY as I am writing this
