It's OK to not like Amsoil. But I would hardly call all people who use Amsoil "fools". Some people put Amsoil in their crankcase, go many hard miles and change it once a year. Perfectly good usage, and so they spent a little less than M1 and a little more than diesel oil. Not seeing why this is foolish or a reason to call people "fools". Just get over it.

And, yes. You did.

You are implying it and coming off like a jerk.

It's called an open mind and freedom of choice.

Sorry buddy just because you think it does not make it right.

That goes for much of the discussion on this board.

... and calling someone a jerk... sorta puts you in the same light, does it not?

I actually put me in a better light as what I really wanted to say would have rocked the forum so instead I showed restraint and refrained from doing it.

Ive used amsoil 20w50 in my 1731cc Vtwin with a shared sump. I ended up following the recommendation of OEM and went Amsoil 10w40. I find on a cold "dry" start the 10w40 seems to quiet everything down just a tiny bit faster. btw my motor has a built in oil cooler.
