It is Sulfated ash phosphorus and sulfur. Newer diesels require a lower amount for emissions.

Been through the lists in this thread, have not seen and explanation for SRT Oil ...

Formerly in marine engineering. In an earlier life I owned my own petroleum tank truck, and hauled for the majors and independent's.

Street Racing Technology.

It's a Mopar marketing name for their high performance products. "SRT oil" is an oil that is endorsed/branded by them for those cars.

Please don't be led to believe it's better oil. While Pennzoil makes a good product it simply fits with Chrysler's ownership right now. The first gen 6.1 engined SRT vehicles were spec'd for M1 0w-40 because an SRT engineer thought it was an excellent product. It was also spec'd in the Vipers.

It's right on the oil cap...

I just went over the current lineups of some common motor oil brands for 09/2016 for the collection of UOAs & VOAs. Here are some updated acronyms, feel free to verify them. I think it’d be a really good idea to copy & sticky the acronym list over in the UOA forum, there’s a lot of confusing naming over there.
