I changed the oil and filter since XL was about a month overdue on time ended up running it out to 14,000-km/7-months over the winter.
This sample I took from the oil stream out of the pan after letting it drain for 5 seconds. The previous sample was from the dipstick fill tube - I'm not sure I got the tube deep enough into the crank case on the first sample but it seemed to be mixed up enough.
Everything is as I would expect it except for the drop in Boron - not sure what that could indicate.
No makeup oil added for either sample.
Put XLF and the Mann filter back in the vibe for the summer. The plan is to run that until October and then go up to the signature series for the winter keeping 6 month OCI's because of the fuel dilution.
