Still got life in this oil looking at the TBN.

Pretty good for an oil that is SGD29.90 flying off the shelves of Carrefour and Giant hypermarts.

Not much difference in additives between the SJ and SL versions of this oil. Oil sheared to 30wt as usual.

The oxidation and nitration for mine was way up there. Pretty good numbers you got there.

Not bad for an engine with 2.7L of oil in the sump.

Yep, still got alkaline juice inside, Terry gave the green light to go for 10k km OCI

Also gonna try LC20 and FF60 when stock is available.

Ya, very value-for-$$ but heard someone saying price will increase this year ... so you might want to stock up if you still using this oil.

Thanks, I think my oxidation and nitration nos. are pretty low cos driving style is gentle and I clock about 70% highway miles. You push your aveo pretty hard right ??!

Thanks ... am planning to go 8k miles with the same brand of oil but will change the air filter first. Already done 2k, another 6k to go

Excellent report when considering the small oil sump. 5w30 is used on QG's over here. This engine is easy on oil.

Because of this excellent UOA, I would extend the OCI. But, because of oil capacity anxiety, I wouldn't go too far.
You could also use a bigger oil filter to make the capacity an even 3 quarts!

IMO, this full synthetic 5w40 is a pretty stout oil, like most of the 5w40's out there.

note this is the 1.6L engine that you guys got in Singapore..not the crappy 1.8L headgasket leaker built in mexico we got in the U.S
