Purolator PureOne AF

I'm trying to locate a Purolator PureONE air filter for my 99 Escort ZX2. What is the P/N for the P1?

It appears that only the Classic is available for your vehicle.

A35155 p/n

Amazon has a Motorcraft, Mann, and WIX offering for your vehicle. Those 'may' provide better filtration than the classic, but it's really a toss up.

Thank you. That's what I was seeing as well. I will give the PureONE oil filter s shot, after seeing the beta ratios of it versus other filters, it looks like it captures smaller particles. as for the air filter I thought the oiled paper would trap smaller particles.

They don't offer a PureOne filter for my vehicle either, only classics.

which is dumb sine i drive a jeep WRANGLER. one of the few vehicles expected to be used off-road in dusty conditions....

fram doesn't offer tough guard air filters for my jeep either...

no oiled paper for me...=(

I think that screen-backed WIX or Motorcraft will be almost as good or as good as a P1 'could have' been for your app. Just my gut feeling...
