Shock Absorber Oil

I just cut 6 shocks apart and reclaimed about 2 quarts of oil. Was thinking of using this stuff as a penetrating oil or a cutting oil when drilling thick metal with a drill press.
This stuff seems to evaporate rather quickly.

Any ideas for other uses?

Don't try this with moto shocks

Aren't they filled with high pressure nitrogen?

the instruction sheet that comes with a KYB shock states to properly dispose of the shock, 2 holes must be drilled in the shaft, not the body and to drain the oil out before disposing.
