I'd like to put a set of P225/60R16's on a 2007 Town and Country, versus the stock P215/65R16 size.

The difference in size is very small. The 225 is a slight bit wider (.4"), and slightly smaller in diameter (.4"), less than 1.5% difference in diameter per the utility at 1010tires.com. It would throw off the speedometer off by .8 at 60mph.

I don't like the look of the P215/65 on the van (too narrow), and there are so many more options in the P225/60 size.

Per Discount Tire Direct you should be safe going with that size.

225/60-16
225/65-16
235/60-16
255/55-16

All fall into the "Plus Zero" safe zone per se....

There is a slight difference in load rating on these. 215/65R16 are 98 load index and P225/60R16 are 97. There are a lot of 225/60R16s floating around with a 98 load index, however, so I would just make sure it is one of those...

I'd have concerns about rubbing with P235/60's, or it giving a "flat-footed" feeling to the steering... That's quite a bit wider.

Maybe the '08-up stock size of 225/65-16 is the answer.

We have the exact same minivan, only it's a 96 model, but it came with the same tire size OEM yours did.

We've been running 225/60 R16's for quite a while now with no ill effects. In fact, it steers and handles fantastically.
