I believe these oils are anly available in Canada so this info is for Cdn BITOG members.

Rotella T5 0W-30 synthetic blend API SJ

Where did you find the HT/HS values? Shell posted it on their Canadian site?

That 0w-40 seems like a good oil that could be used in many Euro applications.

Or wasted in my cars! Although I do run it from Oct. to May in winter, regardless of how many miles I do so I get my moneys worth out of it.

Well, at least they did it. When I asked Shell US about HT/HS of RT6 5w-40, they told me it's "proprietary information."

Also it looks to me that you are able to get blood from a stone i.e. getting this previously unreleased data. Can you inquire similarly for Esso XD 0W30 and 0W40 ie the HTHS? (I have always been given the cold shoulder re the reveal of this #)
