Final Comments : Overall perfect report except for positive antifreeze. Get it checked even though the oil seemingly is not affected . TBN starts near 18 so the overbase Calcium carbonate may be nuetralizing the glycol. Hopefully the positive antifreeze is contamination and not a leak in the engine. I rarely see a false positive. Questions ? Let me know .

The 3.8L is a great engine and the OExtreme did well to reduce wear.

My problem with it is cost, but it does consistantly reduce wear. I've interpeted NASCAR engine tests showing good results using the additive. It is in suspension and not in solution so it will settle out in the bottle, so shake before pouring. Also FM wears out in 3000 miles or so of street use.

I need Johnny to refresh me on the positive glycol but the engine was OK,probably contamination on a rag etc.

Nascar is a big name for some small class cars. Sportsman- Featherlite Modified - Bombers

even a Rotay engine class. I don't think of these as the Big Boys as the name implies although probably some fun racing.

That is a pricey oil imo for such little in return. Sorry but it looks like a gadjet oil IMHO
