Similar scientific principles, verified by post treatment observation from forum members (at least hundreds, if not thousands if you go far enough back), lend it well to a non-abrasive extensive oil soak (to reduce carbon on cylinder heads and ring packs).

And same for its utility in oil: its thinning the oil slightly in the winter may help offset mileage losses from winter blend fuel. Its gentle solvency makes it ideal for an annual MMO cleaning cycle in winter, at a 10-25% dose, to aid the oil detergent/dispersant additive package in loosening varnish and stubborn deposits.

A lot of uses for an inexpensive product. We are talking a few dollars to attain whichever benefit you desire.

Just because the proof is there, doesn't mean we need to walk you through it. You don't want to use it - fine. We got that already.

sounds like it was dumped in the tank and sank to the bottom around the pickup.never mixed properly.engine got a high concentration of mmo and suffered destructive detonation.may as well be running on diesel.same effect as not properly mixing 2stroke mix.

That sounds quite possible. User error, mega dose, and not following directions, it happens everyday with all kinds of products. Then people look to shift blame.
