Can I substitute XT-M5-QS Motorcraft MTL Synthetic 75W-90 GL4 for XT-11-QDC Dual Clutch Trans Fluid in a MT82 Getrag 6-Speed Manual? The DCT (called for in the Manual) doesnt appear to be available yet. They are both carry Ford Spec WSD-M2C200-C.

Whoever told you it wasn't available is mistaken. I just checked and although both my Motorcraft FADs don't have it yet, it is available to dealer as a direct shipment from the production vendor.

Maybe you should hit the Mustang forums, and see what the guys are doing.
It won't all be Gospel truth, but neither is everything posted here.

True, but that is the name it has come to be known by on the interwebz.

Was the last 4.6 32V DOHC engine offered in the NA Cobras officially called the Romeo (for the plant that built it) by Ford, or was the official name something else?

2011 Mustang - MT82 Getrag Gear Ratios

3.7-305 bhp / 5.0-412 bhp
1st: 4.236 / 3.66
2nd: 2.538 / 2.43
3rd: 1.665 / 1.69
4th: 1.238 / 1.32
5th: 1.00 / 1.00
6th: 0.70 / 0.65

It's cool that the V-6 got the same gearbox with it's own optimized ratios.

Not to bring up an old thread, but per the Factory Service Manual says to use the Full Synthetic Manual trans fluid for the MT-82. For the TR6060 is shows Mercon V.
