I had a shaft seal blow on my AC Compressor.
I had leak detecting dye in the gas.
It left horrible green stains on my white paint work on the underside of my bonnet.
Nothing seems to get rid of the stains?
Any ideas on how to remove the stains?

Have you tried to buff it out with some polish or maybe rubbing compound?

Yeah but I'm not sure you want to use it on paint :). I would test on something other than your car first.

I know carb cleaner removed the paint right off my screw drivers once.

Try Glo-Away Fluorescent Dye Cleaner by Tracer Products.

It works great for A/C dye cleanup, though I've never used it on painted surfaces, so test in an inconspicuous area first.
