I have used it on oil galley block plugs before....I can't remember how good it worked. It was a long time ago.
I would think that a spray wax like Amsoil HDMP might work the same way?
i remember a friend rubbing the lugs on his 82 dodge 4wd with a candle before putting the nuts on.said it made it easier to remove the lug nuts.
another friend squrited pink dish soap on the lugs of his vehicle for the same reason.

An old trick is using bees wax.
Someone showed me this about 5 years ago, but they told me to use canning wax. I have used it to extract studs out of old exhaust manifolds with good results.

I only learned about it a few years ago. I've only used the trick twice, but it worked each time!
I saw my boss do this with great success.

I'll have to try this - I got ski/snowboard wax laying around the garage.
atf and acetone... 50-50 mix is supposedly a good one too
