Unlikely

Castrol says it does, but at what percentage is a complete mystery.

Sorry, please note my correction. They claim it contains PAO, not esters. Sorry for the confusion, I hadnt read it in a long while and went back just now and checked their site again.

The grp III only in PU is suspect to me. I really wonder if it has some AN's in it that they failed to mention.

If you want ester get redline....I really like redline and I really like Ultra

Yes, obviously they can't disclose everything, but it's still the best and most thorough FAQ I've ever seen on any oil (easily better than Mobil 1's FAQ). They should check #9, which says VOA is "Viscosity Oil Analysis" instead of Virgin. Nevetheless, I think they've done an absolutely outstanding job with this FAQ.

Many think otherwise - good oil cannot be done without esters / pao cocktail and group III oils cannot be synthetic.
