I found a dr350 that is street legal via a baha systems kit for $1,200. The bike looks like it is used but in good condition. It was owned by a dealer employee and is sporting improved forks, a add-on oil cooler, maintained with syn fluids, tight bearings, good brakes, new tires and has a current safety inspection. Missing/problem items: no speedo, no hour meter, no key ignition, and aggressive knobby tires. I have a motorcycle license but i have only a limited amount of riding experience. I have had snowmobiles, a old dirt bike and quads in the past. So here are my questions:
1. Will this be a dependable bike?
2. Good price? (he started at 1500 and seems firm at 12)
3. Unknown hours/miles
4. Known issues?
5. Baha kit durability?
6. Is it a good leaning bike?
7. DOT knobby tires in rain?

I got a '97 DR350, great trail bike and would recommend highly. Very reliable and good power. Decent handling too. Only issues are a clutch washer glitch -- very minor.
