My little can for assorted uses is full of Marvel Mystery Oil. It is a good penetrating oil for loosening rusted bolts, too. No WD-40 in the house.

20W-50 oil that's over a decade old. Too thick for most household applications, no wonder I never use it.

I've been using Amsoil severe gear ever since they sent me a free case and wouldn't take it back! Works great on everything I've tried it on.
