Anyone know the difference between the Purolator 14610 & 14620 and also between the 14612 & 14622?

The 14610 & 14620 have the same specs. Both cross over to the Bosch 3323 (3.52" long):

The 14612 & 14622 have the same specs. Both cross over to the Bosch 3300 (2.93" long):

I'm wondering if the 14620 and 14622 are newer versions of the others, and the 14610 and 14612 will be phased out when stock is gone? Why would Purolator have two filters that are equivalents?

Sounds like you should email Purolator and ask them, they seem to be good about answering questions.

Probably will ... just wanted to see if anyone else has looked into this.

According to someone who recently posted on a Goldwing GL1800 forum, Purolator says the 14620 is an "obsolete" part being replaced by the 14610

Cite is below and YMMV. Bill McRoberts posted the message there FWIW.

I would assume the same for the 612 and 622.

Thanks for the info ... I think you're probably right.

If I go to this tool on Purolator's website and put in L14620 or L14622, the search finds no applications. But if I put in L14610 or L14612, I get many applications.

Those old filter numbers (14620 & 14622) still show up in their cross reference data base ... added to the confusion.
