Here is the filter I used for the last year on a Honda Civic. This is the larger filter for Hondas, like a Wix 51334 or Purolator L14459.

This filter was built like a tank. It was hard getting it open, and it was hard taking apart the filter medium cartridge. At $2.76, it was one of the cheapest filters at RockAuto when I bought it. Unfortunately, RockAuto does not carry Mahle filters anymore. I replaced it with a Bosch (Purolator) 3312 (US-made, which I like).

Height including gasket: 96 mm
Diameter: 76 mm
Cap shape: 74 mm x 14 flutes
Filter medium: 68 mm x 2242 mm (236.3 in^2)
Bypass: dome end, rubber seal, coil spring
Can metal thickness: about 0.022 in
ADBV: Nitrile rubber (very supple after 1 yr service)
Country of origin: Austria

Yes, very nice. Pleats look great and that's a very interesting and functional bypass design.

Who knew Austria made filters? I thought it was all banks, tourism, lederhosen and beer over there.

They also make governers of California and waltzes over there. "Austria" makes a lot o things.

That's a nice looking filter for less than $3.
