What's the best oil for Hydro Pumps for zero turn

Because that's what generally comes factory installed for hydrostatic drive outdoor power equipment. A heavy-duty engine oil. These machines hold much less than a huge hydraulic system so they run hotter.

Thanks guys for the feedback, this is why I posted this here. I'm hoping it will get enough attention to determine what is best in a hydro drive system that has a small reservoir. The motorcycle oil idea sounds interesting too.
