check to be sure the venting isnt clogged with lint, that wont be covered by your warranty.

one way to do that would be disconnect the dryer venting tie a nylon over the end of the pipe and dry a load of laundry, it it works then you know you have a venting issue, of course if it doesn't then you have a dryer issue.

Having the drum run on rollers makes more sense, use the felt as just a space filler, but making brackets, finding elastomer covered bearings, etc. is tedious.

When the drum is off check the bearing on the back, maybe lube it with a bit of a high temp lube (I use a graphite gun grease).
