I wouldnt recommend a used hard drive. For around $46.00 you can purchase a brand new one.

The external hardrive that I have is a firewire Buslink drive & only had a 20gig drive in it,so I figure 80gig & up would be a substantial jump compared to the 20gig.Money is tight now as I just had to pay My property tax's which were very high "the cost of living in Erie county-=-Buffalo,Ny"

Sorry, I wasn't thinking. They have some EIDE ones for about the same price. $64.99 for a 250GB and $44.99 for 80GB.

You cna get 500 Gb drive from Buy.com for $65 or so shipped if you have Google checkout and happen to have a discount code in there.
Google checkout is no problem..just do not have a discount code.$65.00 is a steal!!
