Driving up car ramps

We've got an old set of metal ramps, they slide constantly unless we put them on the gravel (which makes it fun to work on). I bought a set of rhino ramps and haven't had a problem since.

Thank You Guys!

I have been having trouble getting my truck and all rear wheel drive vehicles to climb the ramps without making them slide. Front wheel drive vehicles have never given me a problem.

So thank you to the guys that recommended placing a piece of carpet or a sheet of cardboard under the ramps. Tried it yesterday and shaazzam, right up the ramp. No sliding at all!!!!!!

I bought a cheap set of rear seat rubber floormats that I place under the front of the ramps. No more ramps shooting off when I back up.

Mine tend to slide if I dont' allow for a about a foot running start. Once I couldn't get anyone to help guide me up and I drove off one side of the ramp as it leaned over. The right front fender slammed into the side of the garage. I still have a broken spot on the bumber from that incident.
