I'm more interested in the filtering media if anyone has seen the innards. There also is a Baldwin the is close to the same size. B7221

Its about the same diameter as a 51085 and is about 1.5" shorter.


Anybody know the media area of a 51085?

I'm just glad I found a short filter with the 3/4-16 threads so I can use it on the Ford filter mount oil cooler that I have installed on my Hyundai.

And it is short enough I can still add my sandwich gauge port adapter that is 20mm thick and have more clearance than I have now.

Currently I run a remote filter and the oil line fittings are below the oil pan level.

I installed one of these on the OEM filter mount.
