What is your maintenance schedule on oil changes?

Our new 2018 Tiguan has 10000 mile interval so trying that. They recommend Castrol Edge on oil cap and in a brochure in manual. Likely pick that for first change.

oil, same as a lot of folks have already said, 6 mo/5k whichever is first(normally April and October) with what ever oil is the next oldest in my stash, I buy on sale, Prefer syn.
either Wix or Fram Ultra Filters.

air filter, changed when i bought the car(35k mi ago). Last summer I installed a restriction gauge. I'll change when it says to.

the stupid OLM in my car counts down 1% daily with my normal commute, it wants me to do an Oil Change every 100 days.
(i've Checked the setting in the ECU via Forscan, it's set for 6 mos/5K mi.)
the first time after I bought it that the OLM popped up, I sent a sample to Blackstone,w/ all the extras. They said to reset and run it out at least 1 more time...

Modern oils - annual changes, no matter the mileage

Seldom used stuff like ranch trucks, 5-year changes

With my van I had been going by the OLM at 15% and roughly 4k miles with the Camry. I’ve got a new plan going forward- once in April, once in October for both cars, on the same day. Roughly 1,500 mile OcI for the Camry and about 5,000 for the Odyssey. Valvoline MaxLife Synthetic Blend in both cars with a FRAM filter.

2 Nissans, 1 Toyota and 1 Jeep Cherokee here...usually change the oil and filter every 5000-6000 miles...air filter every 15000 miles
Been using Mobile 1 synthetic.

Tahoe, Fusion Hybrid, Cruze, Canyon, Charger, ... generally between 5k-7k (OLM limit tends to be 7k)
Current oil: M1, D1, CM, PG … next PP, M1, QS …

1992 Mercury Capri; 5 months or 5k
2008 Hyundai Santa Fe; 5 months or 5k
2015 Kia Optima; 5 months or 5k
2005 Ford Freestyle; 5 months or 5k
1969 Ford Torino; got it’s last oil change in 2005, been restoring it ever since.
1947 Ford 2N Tractor; every 6 months
1978 Honda XL75 Motorcycle; Annually
Hustler Zero Turn Mower; every 6 months
Craftsman 30” Rear Engine Mower; every 6 months
Generator, Pressure Washer; 4 Stroke Weed Whacker; Annually

Valvoline Synthetic or Amsoil in everything.

1999 Explorer: 3,000 miles or annually since it's not driven as much
2000 Pajero: ~ 1,600 miles (2,500 km)
2001 Grand Marquis: 3,000 miles
2003 Expedition: 3,000 miles
2005 Envoy: OLM based with a drain/refill at 50% (usually 4,400 miles)
2006 XJ8L: 3,000 miles or annually, not driven as much
2007 SRX: OLM based with a drain/refill at 50% (usually 3,800 miles)

On vehicles without an OLM, Fram Ultra filters are in service for 12,500 miles with the exception of the Jaguar (OE oil filter replaced at every oil change). Air filters are replaced every 6,250 miles (10,000 km since odometers are metric).

Vehicles equipped with an OLM, air and oil filters are replaced whenever the OLM nears 0%.

All vehicles get a simple drain/refill of ATF at every oil change, with a pan drop scheduled every 12,500 miles along with fuel filters. Differential fluid and transfer case fluid (if applicable) is replaced every 12,500 miles, power steering fluid (CHF-11S) is every 25,000 miles. Brake fluid (DOT 5.1) is annually or every 25,000 miles or whenever a brake job is performed. Coolant is based on test strips.

Capri : Valvoline Vr1 or Shell Helix HX3 20W-50 every 18 months regardless of mileage + Motorcraft EFL90 filter.
Escort : 10W-40 PMCO or 15W-40 HDEO every 3000 miles + Bosch filter, it''s my daily and the previosu owner neglected the oil changes, so i'm going to do short OCI's for the first maybe 10 changes.

What kind of tranny maint do u do on ur rav 4 and corolla?

Every 15,000km on the Outlander, per the manufacturers requirements. Every 10,000km for the Falcon, just because it's easy to remember

On my 2016 Grand Caravan, I follow the OLM, which is usually 10k with a Napa Gold filter and good synthetic. I have been using Pennzoil products but will probably switch to Valvoline Full Synthetic or Napa Full Synthetic due to the cost.

The truck has been getting Napa Gold and Havoline HM once per year. I may switch to 2x per year due to fuel dilution with once per year filter change.

Highlander: 5k OCI per MM, any 0W30 or 5W30 on hand regardless of driving type
240s: 3-5k OCI, any 10W30 or 10W40 on hand; longer intervals with synthetic and highway, shorter with conventional and short trips

None. It's a lifetime fluid.

The Corolla went to car heaven with 255k miles on it. There is another Corolla with 120k miles I should probably add to my sig.

In most cases with vehicles that have lifetime fluid, the tranny fluid can still be changed, I've had it done to two GMs this past week and the fluid was pretty dark after 100K.
I would recommend getting it done at 100K. Also had the shop change the transfer case and rear end fluids on my 4X4.
