What is this? It says SmartGear

A neighbor put this on top of his trash can in a bag with pens, pencils, markers. I needed pencils and markets so I took it home.

I found this inside. It has a shirt clip, says SmartGear, the end looks like it pushes down but it doesnt, it has a small hole in the end side, the other end is a soft rubber ball but pushing down on our does not do anything, nothing unscrews.

I only know because when my mom got her first iPhone she got one because she couldn't figure out the touch thing with her finger.

We had one of those when I was in high school, graduated in 2001. It was pretty cool.
