This filter was original OEM on my 2013 Victory motorcycle with about 27,750 miles. I'd checked it one other time at about 15,000 miles and it looked OK. This time I was somewhat surprised by how dirty it got. Normally the air filter is something I check more often than this, but in the Victory 106 bikes, it's inconvenient to get to (seat, tank, side covers have to come off to get to the backstrap of the frame, which is where it's mounted). There was no discernible performance issues with the old filter, but I'm glad I replaced it. I figure I got my money's worth from it!

Thanks Benjy. . .I'm a big fan of the Victory bikes--love their simplicity, low maintenance and performance. Engineered like a tank! Be safe! What area of PA are you in? --Rob

I was just looking at the torque tubes. . . that's a pricy upgrade! Have you dyno'd the bike? What are you getting for HP/Torque numbers?

That is a beautiful piece of machinery. They do make air filters to catch dirt, and if as soon as a few specks get in the filter real world performance goes down there would be lots of complaints. According to many, the dirty air filter filters better. I would have changed it about like that too.
