I have a 1990 Dodge w350 diesel (irrelevant) that I have been storing in my auto shop on a 4 point lift uncovered during the winter. Every spring when I hose it off it looks like mud!!
I gave it a proper detailing this summer by washing then using ironX decontamination product followed by clay bar then Turtle wax ceramic applied with a machine.
After putting all that work into it I’ve got a couple questions. After parking it on lift I laid clean sheets & blankets over the roof & hood for protection, good idea yes/no?
I thought of laying very light clear plastic over it but was concerned about moisture retention.
My shop is a 40x60 steel building and I was recently on roof sealing some water leaks and all other possible entry points.
Am I good to go??
Thanks 90cummins
