14 WRANGLER-250804 oil analysis 2.webp

Here's the report for the second fill of VRP in my 190,000 mile Jeep Wrangler. I communicated with Blackstone regarding their concern regarding Potassium level and mentioned the vehicle had a leaking oil cooler replaced. I did need to add a small amount of coolant prior to replacing the oil cooler 10 months ago and have not needed to add any coolant since the replacement cooler was installed. The leaking cooler is possibly the source of Potassium and I will send an oil sample to the lab at the next oil change for analysis to monitor this concern.

I've mentioned in a previous thread regarding VRP that this engine runs much quieter with VRP than the previous oil (which was an excellent product). Wear metals look really good to me; I believe demonstrating the Protect function of VRP. One quart of oil was added approximately every 2,500 miles prior to replacing the cooler however a fair amount of oil was leaking to the ground prior to replacement.
