Virgin Sample of Triax Synergy SRT 0W30 SP
Not super shocking, although a bit on the low side. I think the VW 508 spec has a minimum 6.0 TBN.TBN is only 6.1 ?
Nor is it dexos licensed. Also, API’s website does not list this oil, despite the bottle showing both the donut and the starburst.
I’m not a Triax basher… I’ve used their ester-based synthetic power steering fluid before, and it did drastically slow a leak I was having. But this oil looks fishy.
They don’t have the telltale Dexos label on the front of the bottle either. However, the fact that this oil has the donut and starburst, yet isn’t on the API site is suspect. They also list an API license number on the bottle. Never seen that before.Nor is it dexos licensed.
This obfuscation is typical for this brand.
Bro it has multi-layering tribofilm. Keep up.Calcium too high for SP.
Wide range of Euro cars? Which "wide" range of Euro cars use ILSAC GF-6?
I know what is happening here. These guys want to dethrone Lucas oil stabilizer as snake oil champion, except they have bunch of products falling into snake oil category.
Oh my bad. I was focused on friction modifier technology.Bro it has multi-layering tribofilm. Keep up.
Where does it claim it meets A1? I missed that part.Obviously not one of their main Euro oils but my manual calls for A1/B1 just like this oil claims it meets. They state a "wide range of US, Asian, & European vehicles". It clearly has an API donut & license number. They do license other products so it should be legit but it should be listed like the other poster mentioned.
It's in the PDF. This is a VOA posted so it will be discussed.Where does it claim it meets A1? I missed that part.
Their license number is nonexistent in search engine on the API website. When you type in license number, you get something completely different in Bahrain.
We already discussed these lowlife scammers.
Ah, as usual, they forgot to put stuff or have too much nano friction technology going on the bottle. It's in the PDF. This is a VOA posted so it will be discussed.
Except for the stuff on the label that they are apparently making up.It certainly looks like a serviceable oil…add pack is pretty strong…I’d use it without hesitation; not that many choices in non-Euro 0W-30’s around.
A Sequence that was removed nearly 10 years ago now. I understand trying to salvage something from this mess, but if that's all it has then no thank you.Obviously not one of their main Euro oils but my manual calls for A1/B1 just like this oil claims it meets. They state a "wide range of US, Asian, & European vehicles". It clearly has an API donut & license number. They do license other products so it should be legit but it should be listed like the other poster mentioned.
So the FTC won’t let them be or let me be me so let me see? Can’t trust one word/approval on that label. Lawsuit was posted with full details around here somewhere….
