It's due for the 105k service soon.
Timing Belt, Timing Belt Hydraulic Tensioner (not required, but very common to be found leaking, so I'd definitely replace it), water pump, drive belt, spark plugs and coolant. Then, the spark plugs should be replaced and the valves need to be adjusted. Total price should be between $1200 to $1600.
Anyway, the new plugs and the valve adjustment should help your fuel economy. The valves are known to get tighter (not looser, which is why the adjust only if noisy recommendation is bunk) so you won't notice it. Once you have the 105k service done, that should help your fuel economy some. Maybe not 3-4 mpg, but definitely some.
