Speaker Thumps- Pops -- Porsche Cayenne

2014 Porsche Cayenne- Been having a weird speaker issue off and on . Getting a really loud and random thumping noise from the rear speaker under the spare tire. Sometimes it does even when car is off, and also doesn't matter if radio is off or on. also occasionally getting static and random popping from front speakers. Again, doesn't matter if radio is off or on? Really annoying and loud

Any ideas? Guessing factory amp or head unit?

edit-- just found some videos on youtube regarding optic cable and amplifier relay- Would still like to hear any other opinions

The amp is likelyy faulty, it should turn off when the head unit is off but doesn't. could be a cable issue but I'd start by seeing if the signal to turn off/on is getting to the amp;, if it isn't find the cable faults, this could fix the sound issues aswell.

researching a little more and looks like clogged water drain lines can let water in vehicle near the amp. Going to look into this a little more

Found a amp repair place that might be an option if needed

I’m in the “faulty wiring/bad connection” camp here, between the head unit and the amp. Start at the amp. Wiggle things.
