Shortage on wave runners at the end of the year?

I thought this was the time to get a good deal on a 2025 model. Had the dealer tell me they dont get anymore 2025 inventory in and the 2026 models wont come in until December. So what are these guys supposed to do for the next 3 months? Dont they get paid commission?

I had a look at Sea-Doo and yes, everything is about 2026. I noticed their GTR with a 230 HP supercharged engine. Perhaps they purposely constrain any second half manufacturing to make sure they don’t flood the market. As for the sales guys up in Canada they can always flog snowmobiles. The wave runner season up here is pretty much over when the kids go back to school in September.

I mean in the south you can take it out Christmas day if you want. It can be 70 degrees sometimes. Just dont get wet as the water can still be 60 degrees

Another thing that’s important is to have a ton of inventory ready to go in the spring. I imagine all the sales are complete by July first.
