Shell mentions it's used in dishwashing soap too. I'd recommend this oil to anybody needing a high HTHS oil. Probably no PAO though, all GroupIII+, maybe some ester that doesn't get listed in the MSDS. Some of us do miss the lack of moly though.

The marketing materials tout GTL base stocks, so yes, Group III+ as you indicate. I don't worry about moly in the least. I've been using moly free HDEOs for so long, it's much as I expect.
