The RP HPS is a Valvoline VR1 clone with some dye in it. The Amsoil sample looks pretty typical. Unless you absolutely need the additional ZDDP, I see no reason to use RP over Signature series here.

I’ve had solid UOAs in the past with the same truck running the HPS but would prefer to run a 0w40. Past VOAs I’ve seen from 19-20 on it it had higher moly and no boron so it seems they’ve changed it fairly recently. I also have some HSS BlueDiamond on the shelf I should do a VOA on, not because I’m going to run it in this truck but because I can’t find one anywhere on it

I do like the RP HMX in 5w30 but it's almost double if M1 HM or EP HM 5w30.
