Thank you for posting. Many here have been curious about this oil.
Hmmm, not really loaded with add's like I though it would be. TBN is low as well.

Shell oils typically show lower starting TBN than most competitors - mind you that does not necessarily show the rate at which the TBN decreases.

I used four 5 quart jugs of this oil last year in my 2018 Subaru Outback at 6000 mile intervals. It seemed okay but I had consumption issues on the last jug so I stopped using it after that.

Running this in the Subaru now. Its OK but its not a lowe end torque maker.

Seems "gooey" compared to the
Subaru Genuine 0W20 - which seems like you poured "air" into the crankcase.

Currently Subaru Idemitsu has run the best on the 2 litre.

Just behind that was Valvoline Advanced with Magnetec as Makeup.

The Valvoline loved the Maggie and it made for a smoother running sump

and a stellar UOA posted on this site.

My hair became greyer, and my wrinkles deeper.

More seriously it looks like they reduced a bit calcium/phosphorus/zinc. Or it's just batch variation, or lab differences, or both.

Yep exactly.

Bought brand new a few weeks ago at a busy Advance Auto.

Check those dates!

Why are people sending in samples of this stuff? Subie and PQIA have every RGT virgin sample posted in most weights.

To have more data points?

Was there a formulation change?

To see if one was an outlier?

And any other number of reasons why you would repeat an experiment more than one time.

I was going to post a few more of my VOAs that just came back but you've convinced me to go ahead and not share them with the world, with that great attitude of yours! (y)
