rings for cz 452 american?????????

good eveining fellas. i finally pulled the trigger,pun intended, on a nib cz 452 american .22lr. i know that the american has a 3/8" dovetail but it isn't like a american made 3/8" dovetail so rings made in 3/8" don't fit the cz american 452 dovetail. i heard that leupolds 13mm rings. but, they are too low for the scope i wanna use, a leupold vx-2 4-12x40mm AO. do any of y'all have any suggestions of some rings that would fit the dovetail well?

CZ452 any model is pretty awesome. If you haven't bought a scope yet swfa.com has a great deal on a vortex viper 2-7x32. Good scope for the money, magnification may not be high enough depending on your needs.

CZ all around makes pretty great guns. My only CZ I ever had problems with were my CZ40 which was a Colt/CZ collaboration and a CZ712 which was made for CZ by Huglu of Turkey. The CZ40 was fixed with a stouter recoil spring and the 712 just busted a firing pin.
