Red Line 5W30, 2013 Toro 721 Snowblower

For the last 10 years, this engine has always gotten the good stuff as it only needs 0.6L / year.

A neighbour suggested the oil be changed twice a season as the snowblower is used to plow multiple driveways in my laneway

Decided to do an UOA for the first time to see how Red Line fared:

No oxidation occurred as shown by the VOA and UOA. The abs/cm figure is due to the large slug of esters they use in Red Line. Al is at a minor level?

my 20 YO Honda HRX gets Red-10-30 i dont use in my loose audi TT, dumo at seasons end + put in fresh for storage, but prolly will use VP 30-10-30 real synthetic once the Red is gone as my new CC30H rider gets it also

I think that was written since they didn't know what equipment it came from.

When I compare the AI to other small engine UOA, the AI seems normal when considering a snowblower is used more often than a mower. I'm guessing double the hours.
