Recommendations please

Want to drain & flush the Dex-cool from my 99 LS1's radiator. Am getting some sludge in the overflow. What is a good safe product to use for the flush & what is a good coolant to safely replace the Dex-cool with? Thank-you.

Prestone radiator cleaner (not the flush) or zerex cleaner. I like to put this in on say the second water flush, then 2-3 subsequent water flushes to get 'it all out.' Then I will fill with coolant/water mix.

For the coolant, I'd reccomend G 05, either from Zerex, Ford Motorcraft Gold, Mercedes, or Mopar 5/150. These are all G 05 formualtions with different dyes, G 05 has had a great record with Mercedes.
