PUP 10w30 Observations

Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 10w30 is definitely smoother running than PPwPP 10w30 and very close to the smooth running king - Pennzoil yellow bottle conventional 10w30. With PUP 10w30, you have the low volatility of a 20w50 with a nice light 10w30 and without all those nasty polymers added...Maybe even no polymers added in the PUP 10w30.

I doubt Walmart will carry PUP 10w30 much longer...The few jugs I found all had a March 2014 production date and I finally found a jug that had not been opened.

I doubt that it's any smoother that SuperTech 10W-30.

That stuff is smooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth.

Yup...Just not as smooth running. Maybe extra G2 carrier oil for the extra additives(?)

Yup...Google found the PUP 10w30 Walmart page! There are a few Walmarts that have some in stock.

PUP 10w30 is as smooth/low-friction as PYB 10w30 when hot. PYB 10w30 has a slight advantage when cold. PUP 10w30 will be available at some point at Amazon it appears.
