M1 EP 0W-20 6.5 quarts

That's with approximately 4,000 miles mixed city/highway.
Probably 60% city / 40% highway.

Observations?

IMHO that's dang clean looking oil in any vehicle with 4,000 accumulated miles since the last oil change; regardless of oil brand, weight/viscosity, formulation, and oil filter in use.

2018 Hyundai Elantra 2.0 20K miles

IN: Pennzoil Ultra 5w20 and OEM

6300 miles on previous OCI

1st oil change on the new-to-me 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7 Hemi. Used O'Reilly's 5W-20 Full Synthetic with a MicroGuard filter. Found out the previous owner used a quick lube place with the wrong filter...

2015 Kia Soul+ 2.0. 75K miles. Son's car. Was a rental car for first 50K miles. No oil change records of course. Spec is for 5W-20, but I observed consumption issues, so have switched to Valvoline 5W-30 MaxLife to try and slow burning. I also changed the PCV valve and ran some Rislone for the last 1K miles of last OCI to combat possible sticking piston rings. One or all of that has eliminated the burning. 800 miles into this OCI and zero consumption. Last oil used was Mobil 1 5W-30 EP. 5K OCI.

2017 GMC 2500 6.0L gasoline engine. 85,600 kms on truck 1958 hours.

out; 5w30 fast lube Dexos and tiny filter.
in; 5w30 Mobil-1 and long Wix.

The 5w30 had no oil pressure at -35C (-41C overnight in north-west Alberta) when started.

The shut engine off message came on after 15 seconds.
After a minute, I started the engine again for 10 seconds, then shut it off.
I got oil pressure on the 3rd try.
Next winter it will be 0Wxx.

edit; The bearings should self-pump as long as there is oil in the galleries.

Poor thing. Does it usually go that long between oil changes?
