In: Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30, Fram Ultra XG16.

Out: Bulk fill conventional 5w30 from a local garage, done by previous owner, plus about 1/2 quart makeup oil, Pennzoil Platinum HM 5w30. Also, there was a cheap bulk generic oil filter.

This engine will be happier with the good stuff in it.

106,500 miles on her. We'll be going with a 5k OCI on this run.

2002 Suburban 277k-change once a year

Out: Supertech 5w 30 w/Supertech filter
In: Supertech 5w 30 w/Supertech filter

Its probably had this combo for the last 150k

2012 4runner 130k on truck-I dont really pay attention to the mileage as it only sees about 16-18k a year. I just change it every November and May. I run the 0w-30 in summer purely for mental reasons, and then 0w-20 over the winter. Never put a drop of make up oil in this truck.

Out: Mobil 1 0w-30 Extended Performance
In: Mobil 1 0w-20 Extended Performance

I use either K&N or Toyota filter. Never done a UOA, but this combo seems OK. The EP is only $2 more for 5 qts at Walmart than AFE. I figure Im good for 8-9k with an oil advertised for 15k.

Is that ST syn or conv?

You could probably use vanilla M1 for 8-9k.

Sorry the post may have been confusing. Im running vanilla ST 5w30 in the Suburban. The 4runner is what Im using the M1 EP in. I just use the EP because its only $28 for 5 qt vs the AFE for $26. I havent actually looked at the price of vanilla M1.

2012 Honda Civic LX 87,575 miles. Mobil 1 0W-20 Mobil 1 oil filter. I changed it a little early because it was a nice day and I should be good to go for a while.
I changed the automatic transmission fluid and did a drain and fill with the recommended Honda ATF. I also installed a new magnetic oil plug.

Out M1 bulk 0W-20 from Toyota dealership

In M1 0W-20 AFE 5qts.+ 3/4 qt. Supertech 0W-20 FS

Toyota OEM filter

Just bought the Lexus from a Toyota dealership. May have had 5000-6000 miles on the existing oil... hard to tell from the windshield OCI sticker. I wanted my own baseline.
Set the OCI to 8500 vs Lexus spec of 10,000 miles.

1976 Oldsmobile 350V8 in an 84 Cutlass ~230k miles on body
Engine unknown mileage 100k miles put on since 2007.
Out: Castrol syntec 10w30 with about 2k miles mostly short trips over a few months. This oil was 10 year old stock in my dad's stash. I wanted to put fresh oil in right when I store it for winter but I was beyond my 6 month comfort zone for short trips with a carburetor.
M1 ep filter was also on for the last two fills (basically the whole summer).

In:
Mobil 1 High mileage 5w30
Ac Delco filter (because I bought the wrong Mobil 1 filter and realized when I saw the part number on the old one as I took it off. So I borrowed a filter from my friends stash.

This is I think the first high mileage oil I've ran in this engine. I guess I consider it high mileage now that it's 12 years and 100k miles since I pulled it from the junkyard and put a timing chain, valve seals and some gaskets in it. I'm hoping high mileage oil will prevent the 12 years old rear main seal and valve seals etc from hardening up and leaking. So far no leaks.
