After this you should have it rustproofed. If they didn't get to any rust inside the doors or behind the body panels where you cannot remove it the rust will return in a few years.

Is there a Carwell in your area?

There are some great products for reducing the spread of rust. Corrosion X and Corrosion X "Max-Wax" are 2 that I really like, when used correctly. They come in spray cans with short nozzles and regular Corrosion X will creep into tight areas very well.

Max-Wax, Krown or other automotive type product are generally thicker and it sometimes helps to use a heat lamp on tight seams, which will get the area hot and allow the product to flow.
