Pet peeves go in this post.

It is illegal in my state to pull into the intersection and still be there when the light turns red. Making a left turn doesn't change that rule, so we don't camp out in the middle of the intersection waiting for a break in traffic to complete a left turn.
Why would someone still be sitting there once it turns red though? That’s when you make the turn, if you haven’t had the opportunity sooner.

This means that someone who moves from WA to NY etc should be required to learn the laws of the new locale. Some places require maximum throughput because demand far exceeds supply. There is not enough road available for the folks wanting to use it. So if only 1-2 cars turn each cycle and 14 people are waiting, it turns bad fast.

Well, there's a reason it's illegal here. It's unsafe. T-bones aren't just for dinner.... And we've got some of the worst traffic in the country.

People who can't figure out what's recyclable and what's garbage.

People who can't be bothered to throw recyclables into the recycle bin and garbage into the waste bin because 'it all goes to the same place'.

People who are unable to park their vehicles between two straight lines.

People who don't use crosswalks and think it's OK to just step off the curb right in front of me.

Door dingers.

Shopping cart abandoners.

Cigarette butt throwers.

The Dutch.

It all goes to the same place mostly. Very little recyclables are actually recycled. Sorry to ruin your perception.

The rest of yours I agree with. Except the Dutch? Whats up with that?
I have personally witnessed McDonald’s employees dumping all of the contents of their recycling bin into the same garbage bag as the rest of the garbage 🤦‍♂️🙄

I've chilled out over the years a lot so I don't have many things that bother me like they used to but if I had to name a couple things it's:

-People not being considerate to their surroundings, like Facetime calls while in a sauna, that just blows my mind.

-People being completely oblivious to their surroundings, like standing in the way at public events and lineups forming behind them and they have no idea at all.

-Oh one more, people arriving at the Costco entrance and not having their card ready. If it's your first time then OK but for how often it happens it can't be everyones first time.

If we’re talking about Costco pet peeves, mine is when people go to the self checkout with a full cart and then take forever to scan everything. They really should limit the self checkout to under ten items. I’m the guy waiting in the self checkout line with just one or two items and when I do get to the terminal I’m done the entire process in under 30 seconds

People with these bloated trucks (2500’s / 250’s-up) parking between vehicles in the Lowes parking lot. 3/4ths of the parking lot can be empty, yet they’ll get as close to the front as they can and squeeze in between two vehicles. I’ve seen them where it’s obvious that they had to squeeze out of their vehicle to get out! Don’t get me started on the ones that have a trailer getting up in there!
I get that they’re allowed to park wherever there’s a spot, but at some point, consideration of others should come into play. One side of the truck is right against the passenger door of the car on the left and right against the drivers door of the car on the right. 🙄

Oh well, I see a cloud crossing over my house, I gotta go yell at it.

Cheers! 🍻

I love the Scan & Go feature at Sam's . Scan the item with your phone App as you put it in the cart . When you're done , pay with a CC or Debit Card . Head for the exit door . Wave at all the people in the lines at the registers . :geek:

Pet Peeve ? Lazy , selfish , inconsiderate , pieces of human garbage that park in Handicapped spaces that are in NO WAY mobility impaired . They should spend a weekend picking up trash on the side of the road and have their picture posted on the evening news . Along with a really brutal fine .
My wife is mobility impaired so I take it personal .
