Pentius PLXL1495P disappointment

Got a case of these recently and took a look inside. Not good...a bunch of the perforations were not completely knocked out of the center tube. I was able to dislodge them easily using a pencil, I would assume oil flow would have dislodged them as well.

Thats always the issue with punching a hole - you have to knock the slug all the way out. Probably why so many went to louvers. Easier to stamp.

E-core looking better and better.

Send them back for a refund. Not good at all. The case I got seem fine. Cut open a couple and look very good. Stuff happens, but that should have never made it out of the factory.

I know there was a thread here on PG brands (which I currently can't find). I think Pentius was not related? Do we know what PG like construction brands are related to Pentius?

You do know PG uses the same factories in China, Vietnam and Taiwan right?. Same as CarQuest, STP and others.
