Looking for recommendations where to send a sample from my first batch of black diesel to get some data on how well my setup is filtering, and the lubricity (HFRR) of my initial blend. Suggestions?

How did you get black diesel?
If it's home heating oil, you have old fuel with bacterial growth.
Treatments are available.

Centrifuge? Sounds like a custom test, likely expensive. I’d make a bench top filter and pump setup like 5 microns or less and run it through that to polish it after the centrifuge to be safe.

True Black Diesel is reformed at a high temperature and should not require filtration after condensing the particular density hydrocarbons you want. (It’s like making alcohol)

It’s far easier to make clean diesel from plastic than oil or tires.
