anyone know of a oversized oil filter for a duramax? been looking around dont see any info around here.the one i have now is a napa gold 7202. thanx again.

It's a chevy thread with a bypass valve. Something that the longer 13/16 thread filters don't have typically.
It's also rather fine compared to normal automotive filters ..according to WIX anyway

Stick with the correct filter for the Duramax. This engine can generate very high oil pressures and if you use the wrong filter, it may not be able handle that.
