I don't think these are made anymore.. This one must be 20 years old.. I thought it was a joke but it works great either in the fridge or freezer . Was given to me as I just started using it a few months ago.

I had three of the new filtered baking soda boxes and they did nothing . This is awesome.

They last very long too given I knew the previous owner.
The thing is really well built too

I remember my mother many years ago brought over 70 pieces of fried chicken for a family reunion and borrowed my refrigerator and put it in hot.
The refrigerator stunk for a year...lol
This baby would have cleaned it up in a day.

I have a Sub-Zero fridge and it uses a cartridge type air filter. The filter helps remove the ethylene off gas from fruits and vegetables as they age instead recirculating it. The filter isn't cheap but my wife says stuff in our fridge spoils slower.

That was the choice of the well to do even back in the 80s.
Just about every kitchen we did had one. Great fridge!!!
Not sure they had that filter back then though. Neat!

You can find the unused old Oreks still on eBay. They are very well made. Which do you go for? They were usually given away if you bought a vacuum
