Freightliner Coolant Surge tank. The ridges on the 1/2 in and 1 in hose barbs only go half way - they are a half circle, not a full circle. For the life of me, I can't figure out why thay made it that way.
Also there was casting flash on all three barbs and I had to sand them out to avoid leaks, as small as they might have been.
As an aside, toilet fill valves, both Fluidmaster and Korky, for the refill hose use these vicious barbs that point inwards and make it diificult to remove the refill hose.
