Ah...Had a nice sunny day here in Washington state (finally). First time I have had the Trans Am out in over 4 months.
Nothing like being able to use all 420 ponies once and while.
Second gear is oh so nice!
Made me want to hold on to it even more.
Who else has car that sits, but it is oh so nice to take it out for a ride.

My car doesn't sit as long as yours, but when I do take it out its nice run through the gears. Like today when was leaving the gas station I stalled out. *oops* lol

The S2000 in my signature has 31k miles. It doesn't get much use, but it's a fun car for those nice, sunny days here in Virginia!

Rowing is good

I enjoy taking out my '87 Buick GN or '94 Lt1 Corvette. They always bring smiles to my face.

Awesome!

Mike, I'm just south on you in Portlandia. I hear you on the sunny day part, only six days of sun since the end of October (less for you I'm sure).

And yes, my '55, while no show car, only gets out in nice weather, although today it didn't.

I also appreciate the therapy that a manual and a V8 can only provide. My 327 gets abused when I get the infrequent chance.

Ah Portlandia(that made me chuckle). I get there a couple of times a year. My wife has family in Albany.

Hey GMBoy
I had a GN and have a 95LT-1 6MT. I swear the Vette would have blown the doors off the GN if I still had it--- Your thoughts?

Steve

the 02 Z06 just turned 15K miles-around Christmas was the last time it got it

true, nothing like rowing through the gears, of course it looks like the only gears i'll be rowing between now and April are in my Honda........snowblower...

I bought the Tiguan as a manual 6-sp, an unusual choice for a SUV.

No AWD manual, it saved me about $3000 over an automatic AWD, which is antiquated as far as the VAG line-up goes...almost every model has DSG now. n/a on the Tig, but as much as I'd like it, I dunno about reliability.

I'd like to keep this vehicle as a beater, and not only is the manual reliable, it's "fun" and offers good power delivery. I just ordered a torque arm insert to help out with the 340ft-lbs of my flashed 4cyl turbo. An unusual vehicle, yes.

I love those mornings when i get on the onramp to go to work and there is no-one else in front of me and i get to go WOT through the gears. I usually am about to go into 5th when i look down and realize I am going triple digits and have to but the Brembos to good use :-)
